Anna Maria Abonna’s fighting spirit led her to save the vineyards that had been in the family generations from being sold off in the wake of the 1986 methanol scandal. The circumstances surrounding her acquiring of the vineyards meant that Anna Maria was beginning her journey at a tough time but she fought adversity to reap great rewards. Taught by her grandfather on the ways of wine, she continues to dedicate herself to the land and put her trust in the sheltered hillside where the vines grow. All of Anna Maria’s wines are made from 100% single-varietal grapes, essential to maintain the strong identity of each and the connection between the variety and the land. They are all fermented and aged in steel to preserve the expression of the grape.

 All products are sent out on a next day service in wool insulation and ice packs to ensure the product is kept fresh for up to 48 hours.
