WHAT IS IT?

Nduja is a spreadable cured meat made from pork. Its spreadability makes it unlike other cured meats and this is thanks to its high fat content and the specific cuts of meat used in its production. It primarily consists of pork shoulder, belly, and tripe, blended with a generous amount of Calabrian peppers. The mixture is then packed into a casing and aged allowing the flavours to meld and intensify.
COOKING WITH NDUJA

1. Spread on Bread

2. Incorporating in Pasta
Nduja’s rich and spicy flavour makes it an excellent addition in pasta dishes.
Try something like this:

Ingredients: Nduja, olive oil, garlic, cherry tomatoes, pasta (e.g., spaghetti or penne), fresh basil, grated Parmesan cheese.

Preparation:
  1. Cook pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
  3. Add cherry tomatoes and cook until they start to soften.
  4. Stir in Nduja, allowing it to melt and coat the tomatoes.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta in the Nduja sauce.
