THE STORY
The Cantalici winery has more than 20 years of history in the Chianti Classico hills. Since the mid-nineties brothers Carlo and Daniele Cantalici have worked with their father Loris, as well as with local winegrowers for the creation of vineyards and olive groves. In 1998 they decided they wanted to make their own products using the experience they gained over many years.

The history of the vineyard goes back to the 16th century and is deeply connected to regional tradition and the beautiful landscape surrounding them. Their father bought the land in the 70s, and the brother took over in the 90s. They are both passionate about wine and are inspired everyday by the beautiful landscape that surrounds them each and every day.
THE WINE
The vineyards from which they produce the wines are all in the area of Tuscany called Chianti Classico. Cantalici is DOCG and IGT wine. The goal of these acronyms in winemaking is to ensure the quality of a typical product and the technical differences mainly concerning the quantity and types of grapes.
