THE STORY
Domaine Tatin is first and foremost a family run company and human venture. They feel the need to shape their quality wines into various cuvées, and to have people discover as many tastes and flavours as possible.
Chantal Wilk and Jean Tatin took over the cereal farm ran by Jean's father, Raymond Tatin, in 1988. They started growing and selling local berries, strawberries and sweetcorn alongside the cereals. From here they discovered the winemaking potential of their region, and, wanting a new challenge, they created the wine estate in the early 90s.
In 2002, they planted Pinot Noir vines in Reuilly on a plot that has been in Jean's family since 1873, delighted to be making red wine after producing only white. in 2010, one of their daughters Maroussia Tatin joined them and together they decided to plant Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc.
