Gruyère cheese is made by many different producers however the main area of Switzerland that this is made in is western Switzerland in the town that the cheese is named after, Gruyères. They still use the traditional recipes today meaning they're keeping the taste of the cheese the same. They also have an average of 26 cows in each herd allowing them to build a relationship with the cows.
